It’s important to be familiar with the way we work, we usually involve the client all the way through the design process. We will then submit your applications and deal with completion and submission of all council applications.
We will lease with throughout the application process and inform you of any council revision requests, our fees include unlimited council revision to approve the design. We like to feel that we offer the type of service we would expect as a client. We have sumerised the design and submission process below.

There are several ways to engage our services, you may
One of our Surveyors will visit your property to discuss the project with you, ensuring we understand exactly what you want from the development. We will then carry-out a thorough measured survey of the property, taking measurements and photographs both internally and externally as required.
This should usually take around 1-2 hours to conduct as we use the latest in surveying equipment.
We prepare a set draft drawings for you to review. This will include plans and elevations of the existing property layout and also the proposed layout and for a limited time you will also receive our new 3D PDF.
At this stage you can make changes as necessary and once you are satisfied that the drawings meet your requirements, we will prepare your final approval Drawings.
We prepare the Approval Drawings based upon the initial Feasibility Drawings and your requested changes.
Sharpeplan submit the Planning Application on your behalf, and complete the Application Forms.
If any re-submissions or amendments are needed we will complete this under advisement from the Officer at the Local Authority. We will keep you updated on this process and about any changes required.
When we receive a decision regarding your application we will notify you. We will also give you 3 full sets of drawings to allow you to get quotes from builders.
